CONDUCTING MASTERCLASS 2019

The Conducting Masterclass is directed to the young conductors who wish to deepen and improve their technique and interpretation, trying to analyze, and then solve the various problems associated with them.
The Masterclass will be hold with the participation of the KLK Symphony Orchestra http://klknewmusic.com/klk-symphony-orchestra/ for a total of 20 hours of study and check and will conclude with final concert in the Philharmonic Hall with a professional audio and video recording inside the locations of Lviv Philharmonic Society.
The course of 9th Edition 2019 includes the study of the classic and romantic repertoire.
For the Masterclass will be selected a maximum of 8 students with no age limit.

The project ”ORIENT/OCCIDENT” was born with the idea of meeting and sharing among composers of various nationalities and age, on the common theme of meeting between the world of the Eastern contemporary music and the Western culture. The Competition will be made possible through one of the most renowned orchestras in Eastern Europe. The high level technique and interpretative of the Lviv Philharmonic Orchestra, will be honored by the finalists of this international event.

The Competition is realized by the collaboration between KLKnewmusic and the Lemberg Sinfonietta. The project is open to all composers of any age and nationality, who want to share their musical and personal journey, attend seminars and opportunities for discussion, on the art of our time, on the contemporary music and on the figure of the Composer in this Third Millennium. The organization will select composers who will have the opportunity to participate in the “ORIENT/OCCIDENT COMPOSERS’ MUSIC COMPETITION 2019” from 23 to 27 March 2019 in the city of Lviv, inside the music center of Lviv Philharmonic Society.

M° HYO SOON LEE

The Canto & Orchestra Project was born from a consolidated
experience of Klknewmusic, international organization promoting for years now
important events such as competitions, masterclasses, conferences, with some of
the most famous musicians in the world. The project will be located in Lviv
(Ukraine), at the headquarters of the Philharmonia in cooperation with the KLK
Symphony Orchestra
and the teacher, the Sud Corean soprano Hyo Soon Lee,
 internationally renowned. The main objective of the event is to give the
opportunity to the singer selected to deal with the opera repertory, especially
italian opera, from classicism to the twentieth century, with lessons,
rehearsals, and final concert in the Philharmonia Orchestra with recording
audio video professional.

 

Singing & Orchestra  2019 Participant Info

The singers participants will have the
opportunity to make individual lessons with the teacher and with the KLK
Symphony Orchestra rehearsals, with final concert on 05 January 2019 and the
conducting of  M° Ferdinando Nazzaro.

 

For the Masterclass will be selected a maximum
of 10 students with no age limit.

last performances. The selected students will be notified by email no later
than  December 5, 2018.

Regarding the final concert, Prof. Lee, in
accordance with M° Nazzaro and artistic direction of the Philharmonia, decide
together the best singers for public concert. In any case, all participants
admitted to the Masterclass will have the chance to sing one or two arias of
the concert with professional recording audio / video.

PRESENTATION

KLKnewmusic Association, in collaboration with Lviv Philharmonic Society, are pleased to present “SACRARIUM SINGING WORKSHOP” Festival of Sacred Music which will take place in the following period February > May 2019 in Lviv (Ukraine).

SACRARIUM SINGING WORKSHOP is dedicated to singers who are finishing or have completed singing studies in conservatories or academies in Europe or internationally, and who wish to start a concert career in the specific case with symphony orchestra and choir, working on some of the most important compositions sacred of the classical-romantic period.

The one-week period for each event includes piano rehearsals, choir rehearsals, and rehearsals with orchestra, until the final public concert in Philharmonia at the Lviv Philharmonic Society.

This initiative includes a music program dedicated to three most important scores and one gala opera:
W. A. Mozart – Requiem in D minor Kv 626;
G. Rossini : Stabat Mater;
G. Verdi : Messa da Requiem.
These events will be there after Sacrarium International Competition Composers – 5th Edition.

PRESENTATION

KLKnewmusic Association, in collaboration with ConcertOpera Artist Media Management and Lviv Philharmonic Society, are pleased to present “ArteInCanto” Music Festival which will take place in the following period August / September 2018 in Lviv (Ukraine).

 

This initiative includes a music program dedicated to two  important operas:

Don Giovanni by W.A. Mozart, and La Bohème by G. Puccini. This tends to enhance singers of all nationalities without age limit in the world of the opera alla round the world, with the opportunity to perform in public concerts that are to be  professional audio and video recorded and inserted in the AMM TV music program.

 

The main locations will be the Concert Hall of the Lviv National Philharmonia and the church of Mary Magdalena in Lviv.

 

The orchestra of the Festival is the KLK Symphony Orchestra based at Lviv that consists of some of the best instrumentalists of  Ukraine and is operating in Ukraine and abroad already for years.
